How to maintain mental and physical health for coders

Are you constantly looking at the monitor and spending hours and hours in front of monitor and your health is becoming worse ,don't worry coders here are some tips I personally use.

  • First coming to the mental health which is the most important which many people ignore
  • I encourage everyone to practice meditation at least for 5 mins early in the morning before you start any work and 5 mins in the night before to go back to sleep.
  • Do yoga which our ancient miracle which yogis have practiced for many centuries ,i know in the modern day its hard to spend time for yoga but would recommend to do at least 10 mins of yoga which may consist of (surya namaskar ,sarvangasana , pranayama etc)

- These two practices might look very familiar to us and even hear from everyone but we don't practice so its best that you can join with your friends and do it together to motivate yourself or else join a class ,so you cant give an excuse to miss the practices. if there is any mental health issues its best to get help with doctor or else talk with your friends and family ,its totally fine to share what your feeling with people you trust and love

- Now coming to the physical part

  • This needs some time from your day ,i know coders don't have much time so what's my suggestion is that you don't use the lift when climbing up the stairs.

  • If possible play a quick game of foot ball so that many calories burnout in few mins.

As a final note health issues are increasing nowadays so its best that you take care of your mental and physical health stay safe happy coding guys
